Requirements
This is a practitioner-level course. Candidates are expected to meet one of the following agile knowledge prerequisites: iSQI® Certified Agile Essentials (CAE), iSQI® Certified Scrum Master Pro, ISTQB® Foundation Level Agile Tester, or possess two years of professional experience working in Agile. Due to the practical, experiential learning approach of this course, assumed knowledge is required. Failure to meet these prerequisites may make it difficult for candidates to complete the course and assessments within the allotted time. Candidates are expected to already apply basic practices and techniques, such as:
- Knowledge of Test Design techniques – Equivalence Partitioning (EP) / Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) / State Transition / Decision tables / Exploratory testing
- Basic test terminology
- Understanding the difference between functional and non-functional testing, including the basic concepts of Performance and Usability testing
- Ability to perform all activities associated with the fundamental test process
