This two-day program is crafted to empower teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to thrive in an Agile setting by leveraging frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Participants will master the art of functioning as Agile teams, effectively creating and managing backlogs, and successfully planning and executing iterations. The curriculum also highlights the importance of understanding each team’s role within the ART, fostering collaboration, strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement alongside fellow teams.
The training equips teams to actively engage in a Program Increment (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level events, with special emphasis on preparing for upcoming PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be well-prepared to take the certification exam to become a SAFe® Practitioner (SP).
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Apply SAFe principles to scale Lean and Agile practices across the organization.
- Comprehend their team’s role within the Agile Release Train and how it contributes to overarching objectives.
- Identify other teams within the train, including their respective roles and interdependencies.
- Plan and execute iterations effectively.
- Demonstrate delivered value and continuously improve processes.
- Participate in and contribute to Program Increment planning.
- Collaborate and integrate work with other teams within the Agile Release Train.
